Manufactured from high-grade SS304 stainless steel and integrated with a microprocessor-based PID controller, this autoclave ensures reliable sterilization of glassware, culture media, surgical instruments, and biological waste.
Available in multiple chamber sizes and basket configurations, Athena’s vertical autoclaves are built for laboratories, hospitals, pharmaceutical QA/QC & R&D facilities, and waste treatment units, offering automation, safety, and repeatable performance under demanding conditions.
Key Features :
- High-Grade Construction: Double-walled SS304 stainless steel chamber (16 SWG), fully argon-welded for leak-proof integrity. Mirror-polished finish with air insulation ensures durability and thermal efficiency.
- Automated Sterilization Cycle: Complete cycle includes air purging, sterilization hold time, automatic pressure release, and end-of-cycle alarm. Controlled by a programmable microprocessor-based PID controller with user-set time and temperature.
- Thermal & Pressure Control:
- Temperature Range: 121°C to 125°C
- Pressure Range: 15–20 PSI (factory set at 15 PSI)
- Timer Range: 1–99 minutes
- Temperature Resolution: 0.1°C
- Sensor: PT-100
- Safety Assurance: Heavy-duty lid made from die-pressed SS plate, fitted with pressure gauge, steam release valve, spring-loaded safety valve, and validation port. A foot-operated lifting mechanism ensures operator safety and convenience.
- Integrated Protection: Low water level detection with heater cut-off and alarm prevents dry running. Industrial flange heaters ensure rapid and consistent steam generation.
- Accessories: Supplied with perforated SS304 basket(s) for efficient load handling.
